It all happened so fast, it was like a whirlwind. It seems like just yesterday we were thinking about looking at houses. And now, as of today - July 21st, we are home owners. The excitement of closing today, was a bit anti climatic, seeing as at the end of all the signing we got a 'rent check' instead of keys.. but its still kinda fun to think that its all over, and we don't have to worry about any more curve balls being thrown at us. The whole process was pretty painless, we signed our names about 50 times, as expected, and that was about it. The only painful part of it was when we got there, and i pulled out my newly decorated, fun pens (that we were going to use to sign) and the guy said we could only use blue pens.... and our fun pens were black. It made me sad, but i still took a picture of them to share with yall. The people currently living in our house (HA! its fun to call it 'our house') will be staying there for another 10 days, and then we will be moving in officially. This go around, we got smart, and will be using movers for all the furniture. Therefore it will get done in about 2 hours, instead of all day. Anyways... it was an exciting day, and i wanted to share it with yall. Here are some pictures of the grand occasion.
