First Up

So i thought it was high time to have my own place to dump my thoughts. So here goes. I hope you like the set up of this site. I found it very soothing and pleasing to my eye :). We just got back from a whirlwind of a weekend, where on one hand God was continuously testing my anger and patience. But on the other hand it was a true blessing to finally see my family after 2 months. I had so much fun going on wine tours and shopping with my hot momma, while celebrating her birthday. I often have such a hard time leaving at the end of the weekend, seeing as San Antonio is so much calmer paced than this place, but also its just hard to leave my family. I have such a strong desire within me to move back one day, but i have to trust in the Lord, that he has us here - now - for a reason, and in his good time we might get to go back. Coming to our dallas home was a wonderful feeling though, to walk in and smell our 'home' - which was quite nice smelling this time. Seeing as paisley was with us, and not left behind in the house to do what she does best.
On a side note, my sinus infection is now almost gone, so i can take on the last 8 days of school in full force. My good 'ol parvo is still a menace to my body, and i look forward to the day i wake up without such a strong awareness of my knees and ankles. But until then, the Lord is definitely teaching me patience in that area, and is making me stronger. I am somewhat torn about school ending, i am sad to see my babies move on, not knowing if i will ever see them again. But also it is a nice sense of accomplishment knowing that in some way (hopefully) i have impacted their lives. Whether it was just someone to give them the first hug of the day, or some one to introduce their love of reading... hopefully they take something on with them. Also, i am super excited to just be done and relax for a bit. Teaching has taken a toll on my poor little body and i look forward to a summer of nothingness :). In addition, we have made recent plans to visit my relatives at their sweet lake house, so i can't wait for that. Barrett has never been out there, so i look forward to introducing him to the fun of Alabama :). We went about 4 years ago and had so much fun out on the lake with the jet skis, or skiing, 4 wheeling, fishing, drive in movies... and not to mention my favorite cousins and aunt and uncle.

well i think i have gone on quite enough. I am in need of much sleep. 'night.
