My mom, the Machine :)

My mom came to visit for a few days this spring break. And we had so much fun! That woman is a machine!! I learned so much from her out in the yard. So i thought i'd share some pictures with you.

Here are my little tomato plants

Here is our garden. Soon to have zucchini, yellow squash, and green beans. (hopefully)

Those little cups in the ground help mark the soon to be sunflower plants :)

Here is the jasmine plant that will soon be climbing the fence and smelling good

up front are the Gerber daises, that i am very excited about.

Here is our new (to us) patio furniture that we snagged on craigslist. Its pretty comfy, we love it. Now we can actually have people over, to enjoy the fire pit.

Moving on to the front yard, here are the geraniums that we planted (the red ones)
and the lantana (im not sure how to spell that) in between the red ones

this was an old ugly flowerbed, filled with leafy things.. now its a lovely circle, filled with lariope (don't know how to spell that one either)

here is the clutch sago palm that mom found on sale for TEN dollars at home depot!! Barrett has always wanted one, so now he has one.
