the latest

I just got back from our apt. pool. Its a lovely option considering it has been so hot up here lately. I dropped my truck off to get the oil changed, and decided to walk back to the apt. (instead of waiting for my truck)... anyways, long story short i was soaking wet by the time i got back, so i went down to the pool. Our pool is actually pretty nice, however there are two downfalls; its always some form of dirty, and there are usually middle aged drunks down there. I went down there with my mom last week and there were so many leaves i decided to get the net and start cleaning it myself. I went with Barrett last weekend and the water had turned this weird lime green color (the people in the office said about 20 kids had been in it the day before...??..). And then today i went down there, and on first glance it looked clean. So of course i was excited, but as i got in i noticed big fat ants floating all over the surface of the water. As you can imagine, it wasn't as relaxing as i had anticipated, floating on my nice new - blue - raft... fighting off ants. And of course, there were middle aged drinkers down there today, but for some reason i was slightly more comforted by the fact that they had a baby with them. Now that i think about it, i'm not too sure why that was comforting to me, but oh well.
Barrett and i took advantaged of good 'ol "two for Tuesdays" and went and saw Kungfu Panda last night. It was good for a few laughs, but i admit it would have been horrible if it weren't for Jack Black. Thanks to that movie, it has gotten us saying the phrase 'SKA-DOOSH' a little too much.
I heard from the Dr. this morning. Turns out - big surprise - i still have parvo! . However the pros are that my levels are going down, and she thinks it should be out of my system in 2 more weeks. She said that the parvo is probably giving me the joint pain still, so hopefully that will all be gone and done with in 2 weeks. Believe me, i am ready to have a fully functioning body back. She did say that i am out of the contagious stage. so those of you that have been avoiding me, feel free to be my friend again :).
Well, i guess thats about it, we went by the new house last night to go over the inspectors report. Everything came out well, and is moving along quickly. It was kind of a weird feeling to sit in that house last night, knowing in 2 months we would be living there. However on our way out we did notice that the neighbors had about 5-6 aggie stickers and such things on the back of their car.. so that could be fun. Aggie neighbors are always a good thing, right?
well i'm off to get some things done.
